In 1626 [according to NAS summary of GD124/316] John, Earl of Mar, in respect of the lands of Tuldiquhill in the Barony of Kildrummie, granted a charter of ratification and novodamus to John Farquharson, son of the deceased Findlay Farquharson of Toldiquhill, and to Elspet Ogilvie his spouse. On the same day, the Earl of Mar, in respect of the lands of Awld Largie [Allargue], granted letters of reversion to Robert Farquharson, son of the deceased Findlay Farquharson of Tolequhill [sic]. This Robert was father of John Farquharson of Allargue and grandfather of Gustavus and Roderick Farquharsons.
In 1635 John Farquharson 'of Crathie' took sasine on Tolduchull. He was descibed as second lawful son to the deceased Finlay Farquharson of Toldiquill and his wife was Elspet Ogilvie.
The Valuation of 1667 shows the valuation of 'Toldinhall' at £70-0-0 (but without a named heretor).
In 1686 John and Donald Catanach were named as the elder and younger of Toldoquhill when they gave consent to the wadset of the lands of Aldahuie &c [NAS GD1/404/2/15]
In 1694 John Forbes of Inverernan purchased Upper and Nether Tolduchulls from them, including the miln of Tolduchull, which fell into dis-use during the famine of the 1690s (Aberdeen University MS 3175/M/A93)
The Poll book of 1696 shows John Forbes of Inverernan (pollable within the parish of Tarland) as heretor of Toldoquhill and as tenants John McCadie and his wife, Robert Forbes and his wife, and William Glashen and his wife.
The Bond of 1699 for Peaceable Behaviour does not mention anyone from Tolduquhill.
'Jacobites in the Fifteen' describes John Forbes of Inverernan as the famous 'Black Jock', the Earl of Mar's Baillie for Kildrummy, to whom the Earl of Mar wrote a letter reproaching him for sending so few of the Earl of Mar's own men to join the rising of 1715. Apparently he was born about 1664, fifth son of William Forbes, second of Skellator, and died in 1716, a prisoner in Carlisle, of wounds received at the battle of Sheriffmuir.

Downie, James Stuart and Alexr Watson (Proceeds of the Roup)
In June 1795 an 'Additional list of Constables for Aberdeenshire' [NLS
shelfmark X 225.a.1(62)] includes, for Strathdon, Harry Gauld, Miller at
Glenconry, and Duncan Allanach and Charles McHardy, both in Tolduchull and both
nominated by Inverernan.
In 1795 Inverernan's lands of Tolduquhill comprised 'Over and Nether Tolduquhills, Richoracks, Miln of Tolduquhill, Miln lands, Multures etc' (Aberdeen University MS 3402 Bundle 5).
In 1825 Maj Gen Nathaniel Forbes of Auchernach sought to prevent the use of the track across the Haughs of Auchernach by Major Alexander Forbes of Inverernan, proprietor of the Mill of Toldaquhill and of the farms of Upper and Nether Toldaquhill, or by his tenants Charles Farquharson senior, Charles Farquharson junior, William Farquharson, John Farquharson, Charles Farquharson, Robert Farquharson, William Wattie, James Glennie and William Glennie, or by their servants or cottars.
